Welcome to the Nerva Beacon database. This is the natural evolution of my old (but still maintained) site Botcherby's. A listing of all the fan made Doctor Who audio plays.
At present the site is very young. The trickier code design is done but there is still room for alterations and new features. It will take time to update all the audio plays listed on Botcherby's - over 400 of them! Especially with all the extra information. I expect about 1000 pages to have been created eventually. Updates will go on the blog which you can follow on RSS.
The simplest way to get get started is to click on either 'audio plays', 'producers' or 'advanced search'. Feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions on improving and expanding the site by starting a thread in the forum (preferred) or sending me an email.

Comments: 0 First Batch posted on 09 Nov 2011 10:11 The first updates to the database proper have begun, I'll list them below. But first - a confession. I've never listened to the Audio Visuals. I know, I know, they are one of the iconic moments in DW audio history, but things happen, or don't happen. So I've started to listen as I'm adding them to the database and I thought I'd impart a few thoughts. (read more...) Comments: 0 The First Post posted on 01 Oct 2011 08:06 So this is the very first post on Nerva beacon. It's almost all that exists of the site for now. And if it sounds a little pointless then that's because it largely is. This posts main function is to act as a basis for styling the appearance of the blog and related elements. So it's back to the CSS and wiki-syntax, then hopefully soon onto audio entries. I already know the RSS feed is working which made me very happy. (read more...) Comments: 0 |
